maquette series
a maquette is a miniature version of a sculpture created in anticipation of a larger work. in VAR galleries 30x30x30 exhibition, 30 artists were challenged to make 30 works in 30 days, all under 6x6 inches. this opportunity was perfect to experiment with different shapes and structures that lead to a surfaces primed for visual pairing and exploration. remaining works from this series can be found in the online shop.
